I'd like to extend a HUGE thanks to njc2007 for her extremely generous Christmas present! njc2007 was kind enough to give me a $10 holiday coupon in order to upgrade to a paid account on LJ! :-D Of course, I wasted no time in taking advantage of this generous present and have now upgraded. This has allowed me to upload three icons I had stored on my hard drive and I'll be able to make a dozen more. I'm sure there are other benefits as well, but being able to display more pretty is currently at the top of the list. *g*

Yay! We survived the dreaded trip to my mother-in-law's house. It was restful while we were there; but I really hate the 8-9 hour drive in each direction.

On the positive side, hubby loved the Tilley hat I gave him. I am very happy with teflon wiper blades and US dollars for my trip. We give such romantic gifts.

I know. Three posts in two days is a bit excessive for me (even when it's fic-related), but I had to write something about my afternoon tea experience. ( I don't get out much, okay? )

I realized today that they've started showing commercials for Guy Ritchie's Travesty (a.k.a. his so-called Sherlock Holmes film), so I've decided to follow through with my plan to post something good in terms of Sherlock Holmes every time I'm exposed to that monstrosity. ( Yeah, it's one of *those* posts. )
