Brimley-ish

Brimley visits the vet

Brimley's test results are in: healthy; but a little overweight. Brimley's been cut off some of the things s/he shouldn't eat. S/he's not too thrilled about it; but s/he's adapting.

The big news is Brimley's sex. After 4.5 years, we finally got Brimley sexed. It seemed prudent to find out. Some diseases tend to occur in a specific sex and a bird can die in the time it takes to get test results.

*drum roll*

Brimley is a [   boy   ]. Highlight between brackets to see the result.

Of course, Mommy loves Brimley no matter the outcome.

Yeah, it wasn't a shocker at all. We just wanted to be certain. I mean, we thought Chiqui was a girl until his sired Harry. (Actually, the pet store swore up and down that he was a she.) For the record, he was a lutino mutation (budgie), so his ceres didn't take on the standard blue colour.
