Brimley-ish

Of all the days....

The workmen are tearing the siding off our house right now. They're using all kinds of reciprocating saws, hammers and crowbars. Last night's thunderstorm gave me a raging headache and I got about four hours of sleep. All I want to do is take pain pills and go to bed. On top of it, Brimley is freaking out about the noise.

Please sir, can I have some more..........sleep.

These things always seem to happen when we're least able to cope with them. :-( I hope the workmen manage to finish the job quickly so you can crash and Brimley can calm down.
Thank you for your words of comfort.

The workmen removed the siding on the front of the house (townhouse). Now they have to put the new stuff up and do the whole process to the back as well. Having watched them work on other units, it will likely be 3-4 weeks to get this row finished.

That said, I was able to get some sleep and reduce the headache somewhat. Brimley is not very happy; but is settling down a bit now that he realizes I'm not worried. Harry (female budgie - short for Harrier Jet) is not happy at all. Her area is the living/dining rooms. We've thrown out the big sofa, a couple of potted trees and a whole lot of junk. I moved one of the trees she lives in and she freaked. She'll settle down when I'm finished the room tomorrow (I hope).
