Tarot to the rescue

Well, I did it. I laid out my brand new Tarot cards and wrote down the details. Now I just have to look up the meanings for each card to develop characters and a plot for my novel. It feels rather liberating to leave the planning up to chance or fate (depending on your outlook). I mean, I technically have characters and a plot because I have already laid out the cards. I just don't know what they are. It is almost like seeing Christmas presents all wrapped up under the tree. I'm looking forward to opening them.

What a fantastic idea! That's a brilliant way to go about writing a novel! I hope this year's project is satisfying and successful! :-)
Thank you. I can't take credit because it was not my idea.

This exercise has sparked my creativity, just not about the novel itself. Nope. My devious mind is looking at ways to automate a lot of the tedium involved in this process. I want to either develop a spreadsheet or a database to do the lookups and print out the information. Novel? What novel?
Heh!
Well done.
I'm really curious to see how it works out.

If you need someone to bounce ideas off, don't hesitate to let me know
Um, thanks. Unfortunately, I got so caught up in the Tarot thing that I have tossed out the list I made. I have to do it all over again.

The good news is that the Tarot thing was intriguing enough that I created a spreadsheet to help do the lookups. Yup. This exercise really sparked my creativity. Just not for the novel.
