Exam tomorrow

I have my "Understanding Literature" exam tomorrow night. Nope, I'm not ready. As the course ended a couple of weeks ago, I have already forgotten most of what I learned. That means I am rereading all the textbook stuff (1.5 chapters to go) and my notes. Also, I have to refamiliarize myself with "The Cask of Amontillado" (not too difficult) and the play "Trifles" (a little more difficult). Here's hoping I don't fall asleep studying again.

Considering how well you've done on your other tests, I'm sure you'll ace your "Understanding Literature" exam! :-) You probably remember more than you realize, though you're wise to go through your textbook and notes beforehand.

Ironically, I re-read "The Cask of Amontillado" last week as I've been going through Poe's poetry, short stories, etc. It's the kind of story that really stays with you, so I'm sure you'll have no trouble refamiliarizing yourself. I don't think I've read "Trifles," but I'm sure you'll do fine with the revision. :-)
I have managed to reread the textbook. I still have to reread the short story, the play and the course notes. The instructor provided a succinct list of what will be on the exam, so that has helped me decide where to spend my time.

Interestingly, I wrote a poem based on "The Cask of Amontillado" back in high school. That is helping me remember that one. The play needs a little more work to remember.
